Why did we start and where did it all begin?
In August 2011 we bought our lovely little cocker spaniel “Troy.” From the moment he came home he loved toys and even as he’s got older still walks round the house with one in his mouth 90% of the time. However no matter what the toy is Troy can destroy it and rip it to shreds. We’ve tried soft toys, balls, hard plastic, bottles and even some KONGS! All would end in pieces next to a guilty looking pup!
He was taken to the vets just before a family holiday Dec 2011 as he had swallowed numerous bits of toys and was constantly being sick and coughing. We avoided a big operation [luckily] and managed to get the plastic and toys out of his tummy after much expense and time at the vets not to mention a cancelled holiday.
We then decided to research and find materials that could be put together to make toys that are eco friendly, safe, enjoyable to play with but not easily desTROYed!
